POV Jasmine
I heard my mother's scream for Lilly as my Aunt Rose was working at freeing me. She was having a hard time with my shackles. I looked over in horror to see Lilly fall down as Chance opened his eyes and I knew what she had done.
She had done what we had warned her over and over about. I gasped at the blood coursing down her cheeks from her eyes. She had used the last of her magic to save Chance. She was dying. My mother looked over at me as she caught Lilly and my mom smiled and nodded with a look of peace.
Mom grabbed Lilly and whispered something. I saw light flash between them and my mother slump down.
I looked on in horror as my Mother gave Lilly all her magic in one second. I knew that if we didn't reach her in a few seconds, there would be nothing we could do. Her face was already covered in tears of blood.
