At Nightshade pack, Alpha Cade rolled over to the other side of his bed for the fourth time. Sleep eluded him, and frustration grew with each passing minute. Glancing at the clock, he saw it was only 2 a.m. A deep, inexplicable sadness gnawed at him, leaving him confused and restless.

"Why do I feel so empty?" he muttered to himself, sitting up in bed. He scanned his room, hoping to find something to occupy his mind, but nothing seemed to help. Finally, he decided to step outside for some fresh air. He walked to his balcony, hoping the cool night breeze might bring some clarity.

As Cade leaned against the railing, gazing at the moonlit landscape, the air around him began to shimmer. He blinked, unsure if his tired eyes were playing tricks on him. Then, before him, a figure materialized—a woman of otherworldly beauty, her presence radiating power and serenity.

"Alpha Cade," she spoke, her voice like a melody that resonated deep within his soul, "I am the Moon Goddess as you know, and
