"Suzanne's late again," Ryan snorted as he glanced at his watch.
They were inside the school waiting room.
Edward, Jake and Wallis just entered.
"Hey!" Ashley waved at them and smiled brightly. "Hey sunshine," Edward nodded at her as he sat down. He always called her sunshine because he'd never seen her without a smile before. She was always radiating like the sun.
"Edward," Ashley beamed a smile at him.
"Could you scooch over?" Jake asked Ethan as he rubbed his eyes. Ethan was seated on the longest cream coloured settee and he wanted to lie down on it.
"Um, sure." Ethan shifted to the extreme edge and Jake laid on the remaining space, feeling satisfied. He had on a lazy smile as he closed his eyes.
"Hey guys," Wallis said as he also took a seat.
"Great, now Annabelle's team is here. It won't be long before she
"Your mission is to deliver this parcel to Wong Chi and he lives at 5, skylight street, Wippi." Alex told them. They had met at Mel' O's Burggies."Wippi?! That's at the other end of Herotapolis!" Ethan exclaimed."On the outskirts of Herotapolis," Andrew corrected and took a sip of the latte that was on the table in front of him. "Big difference!" Ethan snapped at him.Ryan looked at Alex. "Why do we have be the ones to deliver it?""Because it's your mission," Alex said point blankly and went on with what he was writing.Ashley frowned slightly.Ryan's birthday was a day away and they hadn't done the bakings yet. At least they've already decorated the field."Um, how long would this take?" She asked.Alex checked his watch. "It's a four hour journey, to and fro. And if you leave early and quit w
"Finally!" Ethan stretched himself once they got down from the bus.Ashley laughed."Woa! That's a lot mountains!" Suzanne said looking around. The bus had gone off in the path made on the rocky place."We'll take those stairs to the rope bridge and then we'll get a cable car from there," Andrew said, pointing at a small mountain that had steps on the side."And look! Tourists!" Ethan pointed at a small group of people around the steps Andrew had pointed to."Okay, let's go," Ryan said, wanting to take the lead. They all went to the stairs."It looks dangerous," Suzanne said as she stepped back fearfully. "There's no railing and some steps aren't smooth," she added."A hero fears no danger," Ryan said snidely."That's right!" Ethan said passionately. "I'm going first! If I die, tell my mother I lo
"Alright team!" Ashley started as she paced back and forth in front of her teammates."Let's cook!"She looked at her younger sister who held lots of aprons in a box. Ashley grabbed three and passed it on to Suzanne, Andrew and Ethan."But first, we need aprons," she smiled as she gave it to them.Andrew looked bored as he put his on. It was dark blue in color and it had a pink heart in the center. He also rolled up the sleeves of his light green hoodie least it got stained.Suzanne looked away as she quickly put on the white apron that Ashley had given her. It had flowery patterns all over it.Andrew looks kinda cute domesticated. She blushed as she thought of it."Right!" Ethan nodded as he tied the strings of the apron he wore around his waist. It was light brown in color and it had a dark brown bear head
They all tensed when the doorbell rang again."Maybe it's Uncle Ted?" Ashley stated doubtfully.Andrew glanced at his watch. "That's not possible, he went to Zuba did he not? He can't be back by now. Anyhow get the door," he turned to Ethan and Suzanne, "We'll stay out of sight in case it's someone other than your Uncle."As they all stood up the doorbell rang again, followed by three knocks on the door. Then a voice."Ashley?"They all froze."It's Ryan!" Ethan said in a loud whisper."Go, go, go...," Ashley shooed them and they disappeared into the kitchen. She checked to make sure they had gone before going to the door."Coming," she said sweetly.Meanwhile Andrew, Suzanne and Ethan hid in the kitchen."Switch off your phones or put it in aeroplane mode, quic
Suzanne entered the yellow bus that pulled up at the bus-stop. She got a seat by the window side and looked out at the scenery as the bus drove by.Believe it or not it was Ryan's birthday and they had some things left to do but Alex had sent them all a text about a mission in a certain location.Suzanne sighed again.Andrew had told she, Ethan and Ashley to bring their bagpacks along with their party dresses and work clothes in it as they were coming so right after the mission it would be easy to head to Potter's field and also change.Already as it was the Squad 15 and Jamie were already at the venue, spicing things up.Shane and his football buddies were also helping out in exchange for some treats to have in their practice the next day.Andrew's mum and Kevin were also there to organize things.Kevin had agreed to be the DJ. At first
"Sorry I'm late!" Suzanne said as she rushed into Blueberry café.All eyes turned to her. She looked around nervously when she saw she attracted stares. She sheepishly walked over to where Alex, Andrew and Ryan were seated in a stall."Um....where's everyone else?" She asked once she had greeted Alex and she was settled comfortable in a seat beside Ryan's."Beats me," Ryan shrugged. Not too long after, Ashley and Ethan both entered at the same time.Ethan was munching some cookies, it was not so hard to link up what had truely happened. Ethan had gone to Ashley's house first because he wanted a cookie and hence delayed the both of them as Ashley just had to bake a fresh set."Sorry, sorry I'm late," Ashley apologized profousely.Ethan didn't even render any apologies, he just sat down magestically after greeting the busy Alex.
Ryan pushed open the main door to the mansion. He saw his parents clad up in business suits. His dad was on a phone call while his mother used a laptop as she sat on the couch. He frowned slightly as his mum looked up at him and gave him a small smile.Kailene sighed sadly and returned her gaze back to what she was working on with the laptop. She knew Ryan was still mad at them for leaving him when he was eight. She still recalled how he had reacted when they finally returned."Ryan!" she exclaimed and rushed forward. She hugged him while he stood tense and stiff, making no effort to return the embrace. Ryan's eyes rested on the man that stood where the she had been seated. The man's lips were in a straight line and his face was one that could easily form a frown. He regarded Ryan with a dissaprovi
Ryan entered his bedroom and sat on his grand king sized bed with violet silk sheets, all expensive looking.Ryan glanced at his phone that laid on his nightstand and grabbed it.He went through his contact list and dialed Dylan's number."Hallo!" Dylan's voice echoed from the other end."Hey Dylan," Ryan said. "What's up?""Ryan, Ryan, my man! Who'd have thought you'll of all people would call me!" Dylan chuckled. "I'm actually pretty cool," Dylan said.Ryan heard some music playing at the end of where Dylan was. "Are you at a party?" Ryan couldn't help asking."Yes! Your--" Dylan caught himself quickly. "You're at home?" He said instead."Hm mm," Ryan hummed in response. "I actually thought we could hang out today.""Oh, sorry man," Dylan said."No worries, bye
