Twenty four

Sophia's POV

It is still funny how it had felt like yesterday when we started dating and today we are celebrating our sixth month of being together.

Dating Alexios has been nothing short of beautiful, even for someone who is as pessimistic as myself, I am unable to find any fault in him. I have watched him try to get to know me, to be better, and to improve. Being with him has been good for me too. It helped me control my temperament and I have grown to be more patient than I was.

"When is he coming to get you?" Mom asked for the umpteenth time. There are times when I wonder whether I am her kid or if Alexios was her kid.

"I don't know mom. He hasn't been picking up my calls." We had planned to spend the whole day together. We wanted to probably go for a hike and then make a tent for a picnic. Somewhere quiet, somewhere we will be making our place. I had tried calling him all day but it kept ringing with no one picking up.
