*BLAIRE*

"Oh God Blaire thank God you're back." An older woman gushed hurrying over to her, barely giving a glance to her travel companion.

"Yes, I always return Elda." Blaire rolled her eyes and continued to walk.

"Blaire! Blaire!" Three little kids screamed running to her excitedly. She knelt down and looked at all of them with a smile.

"Did you kill a vampire?" One asked.

"Or werewolf?"

"A werepire?" The eldest, about seven years old, asked. All of them looked at her with eyes sparkling with excitement. She was their gaurdian, the person they aspired to be.

"I killed some vampires. I haven't come across any werepires yet Wes, but you'll be the first one I tell if I ever do." They all gathered around to hug her tightly with excitement until the boom of her father's voice scared them off.

"Blaire!" He shouted from their mansion's front steps, as it looked out over the rest of the small family village of hunters.

"Yes, coming dad." She said with an apathetic sigh. Her father used to scare her, but she wasn't scared of him anymore. She learned quickly that he wouldn't ever hurt her, and that she could rival his strength, or that she will be able to soon, but she was also already a bit faster than he is now, and she had speed to gain with her ascension. She strolled up to the home and continued her saunter past her angry father. Her lack of fear in him, irked him to say the least.

She walked to his office knowing that's exactly where he would lead her, he followed her in an impatient manner and when they got to the room he slammed the door shut behind him.

"Sorry." She said with a shrug, "I got caught up in the sand storms."

"Sorry?! You just left... You keep just leaving. You go for a hunt and say nothing, everyone starts looking for you and you show up days later as if you never left. We only learn you're alive when places become abuzz with you killing another vampire, or werewolf. Look I'm glad you like hunting, thrilled even, makes you a better hunter and all I ask is to please give us a heads up. Let us know a day or two in advance that you're going hunting. So we don't worry." Her father tries to yell at her and stay angry, but without fail, in every single mid-yelling at her, his voices softens and quiets. Followed by a hug, as he moved to do just now.

"I will be sure to let you guys know when I'm leaving."

"Thank you." He said releasing her and going to sit behind his desk. She sat in the chair across from him. "Your ascension is coming up."

"Yup. Three weeks." She sighed and leaned against the seat, "I found a stray. His entire family was slaughtered while he was on a hunt. His name is Darrell, he's young. A strong, fit black kid that seemed sweet, but like...tough as nails in a muted way. If that makes sense. He also doesn't share our DNA, so I brought him here with me. We could use another male for mating purposes, and for the pure fact he seems capable....Not mating with me, before you even suggest."

"What killed his family?"

"He said lycans did it. He was very sure it was lycans. There is that blood born pack up North, not too far from where he said his family was killed. As I said, he seems very capable. I'm sure it was the blood born ones."

"Yeah, well, we'll handle them soon enough. Your ascension is first on the list of to do's. You haven't dealt with a blood born alpha before, and they are ruthless. They are like ten viral alphas combined. They're also all together there in the brain, so they're smarter too. This particular one has a nasty reputation and has killed off alphas from other packs, built the packs up...trained them, made them tougher and then passes it off to a beta he personally trains and chooses before going to another pack. He is known for his brutality and skill, but also, his intelligence. He isn't going to be easy to kill."

"I get that dad, I do."

"Blaire, you need to understand something... You can't take him on, until you've ascended. I know you love to prove how tough and strong you are..."

"I'm not trying to prove, or anything like that...I've more than proven myself and my abilities, I enjoy the hunting. I enjoy one upping myself."

"You need the help of the ascension...That's all I have to say about that. No more hunts until you've ascended. It's a big deal, and you're a Raiser, so there are going to be other hunter families coming to see you. Take the break. This alpha isn't a joke, even if he is only half his reputation, he will make it hard for you to kill him."

"Got it." She sounded like she didn't care, or believe him, but she did. She appreciated the seriousness of his warnings, she knew if he spoke to her about the strength and power of this blood born alpha, he was serious. Blaire knew damn well her father knew how powerful and capable she was, and if he was concerned and showing such as he was, it was a serious issue. She'd read about blood borns before, they were rare and far between, but they were the reason hunters were being killed. Only blood born werewolves could truly rival the speed and strength of a hunter, followed by vampires that were at least a few hundred years old. New vampires were weaklings. "I'm tired though, I'm going to go shower and sleep. We'll discuss the ascension ceremony tomorrow or whatever and we can talk strategy when dealing with the wolf later as well. See ya' later dad."

"Bye honey. Sleep good." It was early evening, but she was exhausted.

Blaire slipped into the hot shower and closed her eyes. She'd had sex with humans, hunters and vampires, vampires she would kill right afterward, but never a lycan. They could sniff out her hunter genetics with ease and so she couldn't ever get close enough, but she'd heard rumors that lycans could really make it hard for you to walk. And many humans, and plenty of female werewolves were killed during sex with a male.

There were many reasons for that. Some were due to the roughness and how keep into the animal side of themselves they got, others talked about the size. Lycan males tended to be well-endowed. And Alphas even more so, as much as Blaire loved killing the monsters, something about sex with them was intringuing. And she wanted to have sex with a werewolf at some point before killing them.

She moaned to herself as she slid her hands across her body and between her legs, imagining what the alpha may look like and pretending she had enough control over him to get him to fuck her before she killed him. She continued to play with herself until she made herself orgasm. Leaving her knees weak and her body hot, relaxation blanketed her. She took the final moments of the shower to clean herself off and then she went straight to bed.

*SEBASTIAN*

Journal Number One (Entry 4 of 38)

November 23rd, 2050

It's almost Thanksgiving. Not that I have anything to be thankful for, except my son. But all the shit outweighs the good, because he is the only good thing, and he is growing up in a world that is just shit. Everything is a mess. All the time. I miss Nancy. I dream about her every night, and I'm pretty sure she talks to me. I see her sometimes, just smiling at me. This world is doomed I'm sure. Europe is just a radioactive hell-hole filled with mutations on everything everwhere. What humans are still there are riddled with cancer, the virus that became two different viruses turning people into werewolves or vampires basically, also creates some pretty bad creatures when mixed with the radiation from the nukes. I haven't seen any of the creatures to come out of there, but I can't imagine they're pretty to look at. We've had to go completely underground now. This secret government facility is now our new home, here we'll continue testing and learning about Jason and hoping to replicate it. I'm not the only one who believes Jason is the savior of humanity. Others are thinking so too, after seeing an infant doing the things he does. He's brilliant. Very special, just like his mother. He looks so much like her. I can't wait to tell him stories about her. Oh God how I miss her.

"Sebastain, have you gotten anything from the paperwork? Or the journal?" Theo asked, he'd only brought the papers in an hour prior.

"No Theo, I haven't looked over everything yet. It's barely been an hour."

"Alright. Just checking. Also to let you know the pack heard some other lycans destroyed a hunter family not too far from here. We'll probably be blamed for it. And some of us are wondering when we'll beging training."

"Find out who killed the hunter family, get word out to them that I want to speak with their alpha. And we can begin training tomorrow. Five a.m sharp, meet at hollowood square. I want the same guys that came on this mission for this stuff, to be there. I'll train you all, and then train you all how to train the rest of the pack."

"Cool. Sounds good. Can't wait. It's nice having a mast..."

"A what? Were you going to say master?"

"I was."

"I'm not your master. I'm your alpha, your leader, you're master is not something I am. You're not a pet. Have more respect for yourself Theo. You're a strong man, you're capable of a lot of power, and I am going to help you get there. I need you to be strong enough to be an alpha one day."

"So, you can leave us and go fix another pack?" Theo asked him point-blank. Sebastian smiled slightly.

"Something like that."

"You think I'm capable of being an alpha?"

"I think you are. We'll get you there. I'm not leaving any time soon. You're smart enough, and wise enough, but we have to build up your confidence. And your skills. All of your skills. And we will."

"I appreciate your faith in me."

"You haven't proven to not deserve it yet."

"I don't intend to."

"Good. I want a description of the members of the society and I want a detailed description of the Raiser girl." He ordered and Theo nodded leaving only to return moments later with a stack of photos. He handed one pile to him.

"Society." Theo said and Sebastian began to look through them before reaching up for the other pictures. "The entire hunter family. You'll know the Raiser girl when you see her, even in pictures like that she stands out powerfully."

"You're a genius with intel you know that?" Sebastian said without looking away from the pictures. He saw pictures of many hunters, men and women, and held up one. "Charles Raiser, I've had near run-ins with him." Sebastian stopped and froze on a picture so long that Theo grew concerned.

"Sebastian? Everything okay?"

"This is her?" He asked holding up a photo. Theo nodded. The picture was of Blaire in just panties and a bra in a river, the way the light hit her made her green eyes seem to glow. The photo itself just made her look intoxicating, stunning. "Did she ever notice that her picture was being taken?"

"I don't believe so. The photographer made it here alive and is still alive to this day."

"How long ago were these taken?"

"The ones of her and the family were about a year ago, the ones of the society were throughout this past month and a half."

"Has her appearance changed much?"

"I don't believe so."

"Okay. Good to know. Now I know what we need to watch out for." Sebastian smiled and set the pictures down, "I'm going to keep going through these and see if I recognize any one. I've traveled alot and met a lot of people. You all go eat and get some sleep because I'll be training you guys to death."

"Alright. See you later." Theo left the office choosing to bite his tongue of his concerns for the strange reaction Sebastian had to seeing the Raiser girl.

When Theo closed the door behind him, and Sebastian was alone he picked up the picture of Blaire and looked at it again. It wasn't even her body, that was amazing for sure, that was capturing her attention, but her eyes. She had bright, solid green eyes, they looked like emeralds shining. And he knew he'd seen them once before, no one had eyes like that, it was supposedly a Raiser mutation.

It was something he'd put together until he saw that picture. She had saved his life a long time ago. He was twelve at the time, she would've been about five. His pack and her family were in a massive fight. The packs fault, they ascended on the family on their own territory, and both sides suffered heavily.

He remembers not wanting to fight and he ran to hide inside one of the houses coming face to face with the emerald eyed little girl. She looked precious and innocent then, not so much in this picture. She radiated power now. She had the option to scream and asked for help because the two of them knew she was aware of what he was.

"Is the house clear honey?!" A man's voice boomed through the house, it had made young Sebastian jump with fear and he swallowed hard. Tears burning his eyes as he stared pleadingly at the girl. "Honey!?"

"No one is here daddy!" She yelled back her eyes never leaving his. Even with her innocence, thinking back on it, she had a power that would become unmatched.

"You're safe?" He hollared.

"Yes daddy! Go save everyone!" She instructed. Sebastian reached out and touched her hand lightly to thank her but they were met with a strange shock in both of their bodies. It went through their entire core, so he just ran.

It amazed Sebastian how his view of her shifted from that moment to this one. Never once did he realize that she was powerful and influencial even as a child. She instructed that man, her father, to protect everyone and was willing to risk herself to save everyone else. She could have called for her father to save her, kill Sebastian, but she didn't. She was brave then, standing up to him confidently. She didn't know what he was capable of, she didn't know what he was going to do, but she risked it. Even at five years old it was obvious she knew the choice she was making and the consequences that could come with it.

She saved his life. And now he wasn't sure how he was going to handle her when she came from him, quite possibly unaware of who he was. She was coming to kill him, but all his life he'd been in awe of the child too brave for her own good. He'd never forgotten her.
