He sat at his desk looking over reports from his hunters, and looking over the map where they kept marking off known locations. Locations that led to one dead end after another. It was late at night and he knew he needed to shower and take some time to think without the distraction of everything else surrounding him. He knew his wife would be sleeping so he slowly and silently made his way up the stairs and was surprised to see a light on in his bedroom. He peeked in through the partially open door and saw Xavia rubbing her stomach softly, affectionately.

"It's okay little one. Daddy will love you, he's just sad your big sister is missing. But we will find her and be a happy family. He's a good daddy, he'll love you so much." Charles stood there frozen for a second and pushed the door open lightly. He stood silently in the door way and Xavia looked shocked and horrified. "Charles I..." He held up his hand to silence her and she closed her mouth.
