Chapter Nineteen: The Encounter

The battle had been bloody. Everywhere the remains of many vampires were scattered, destroyed by the power of Dan Ranlone, who, exhausted by the harsh confrontation, breathed with some difficulty. He had many wounds that had not yet begun to heal, most of them the result of powerful bites received and from which trickles of blood flowed, some more profuse than the rest. “The damn bites from you don't do me anything!” He yelled at them in the middle of the battle, furious and somewhat disorienting his attackers, who continued to attack him even with their sharp nails, tearing his skin but without doing much damage.

After several minutes of fighting, which seemed like hours, he managed to kill all but one.
