Chapter 47 - David
Angry rushes through me as I rip Bridget’s hand from around my neck and shove her away.
As soon as her nasty lips are free from mine, I wipe my lips with the back of my hand, trying to remove anything she may have left behind, including her ugly orange lipstick.
I narrow my eyes and glare at her as I hiss, “What the hell, Bridget. I just told you I wasn’t interested.”
Her cocky smile disappears as hurt flashes through her eyes. “You have always been interested before.”
I wipe my lips again. The back of my hand has more of her lipstick as I growl, “I was only interested in you one time. Then you turned into this clingy, demanding witch. I was going to let you get by with the quick peck on the cheek, but I’m not going to after that brazen kiss.”
Kai nudges my arm. “Uhm, David, I think you have bigger problems now.”

My eyes wonder ahead of me to Alex as he talks with Paul and Chance on our way to his class. My gorgeous boyfriend is getting better at walking with his crutches, but he still stubbles from time to time.A faint smile adorns my face as my eyes take in Alex’s tone body.
