THE WALLS HAVE EARS

No one had expected me at the office. I was there a few minutes ago, not for business or work, but just to see how everyone was doing and how they were managing. I was happy to see everyone, and I was so glad that they were happy to see me. I really cannot wait to come back… or I could just stay and never go back to the island. The whole island is just a lie and I no longer want to be there anymore.

I have a lot going on right now in my mind. I found myself driving around and I stopped in front of my parents’ mansion which was once my home. I stay in the car and just look at the house. Tears started to stream out of my eyes, and I just started weeping in the car. I miss my family, and I just want to come back home.

I clean my face with a wet wipe and check if I look okay in the mirror before I get out of the car. I breathe, reluctantly walking towards the entrance. I get to the front door and make a silent prayer. Just as I was about to ring the doorbell, it opens, causing me to
