Chapter 57 She's Back

"You did not expect me to wait? Are you hearing what you are saying, Arah?" exasperated, he angrily raves with gritted teeth. Despite the tears messing his face, he was triggered by her another wrong assumption

"I set you free before I left. You can do anything you want" pouting like a child, she retorted.

In utter disbelief, he scoffs while tightly closing his eyes and praying for patience.

"I am being silly again?" seeing his expression, she unsurely asks.

"Yes, you are. I can't believe how your brilliant mind could be so dumb sometimes, Amara" somewhat irritated, he mutters. Only less than an hour and Arah is already testing his patience.

"You can no longer take back what you said. Only death could separate us" stubborn and pouty, she reminded him.

"I will never take back what I said. But it doesn't mean I will not be irritated by your odd way of thinking" he seriously counters while she rolls her eyes at him.

"I'm not odd" she tries to counter.

"Bring Arah home, Ther. It's late"
