CHAPTER 17 FACING ADVERSITY

Annika was seeking for a spare table to eat at for a peaceful lunch in the crew mess. While she was eating, a bunch of Jaqueline’s gangs entered, all laughing as though they were having a good time. While they were waiting in line, Gemma noticed Annika and murmured something to Jaqueline while directing her gaze to where Annika is sitting. They sat like children, pushing each other about, making noise, laughing, and chatting loudly to the next table, where Annika was seated and they could see her face.
