Daniella's visit

  🌿 6🌿

    Heidi’s POV

I still couldn’t believe she was who I thought she was, so I had to ask. “What are you doing here?”

She flashed me a surprised smile. “Heidi! I really didn’t know I was coming to your house until I got into the street. It’s such a small world, yeah?”

I scoffed, glaring at her. “First, it was you and now, it’s your mother who’s trying to force her way into my dad’s life?”

The smile on her face disappeared. “My Mom would never force herself on any one. She’s beautiful and successful. She’s a lawyer.”

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bla bla bla.” I rolled my eyes, turned away from the door as I walked back in, leaving her standing at the doorway.

Dad stared at me as I walked back to my seat. “Where is she?”

“She what?”

“She just knocked at the door right now, Heidi. When will you stop being so perky...” he stopped talking when he heard Daniella’s shoes making noise on the floor behind him. He snapped around to look back at me. “Heidi!  When did you become so rude?”

I gasped. “What did I do!”

“You should have at least, led her into the house.”

“Really? Was I supposed to hold her hands or what?”

“Good evening sir…” Daniella greeted, breaking the argument.

Dad sighed and turned away from me. “You must be Daniella. How are you doing?”

“I’m great. Where’s my mom?”

“She is in the kitchen.” Dad replied her.

“Can I join her?”

“Sure. Go ahead.” Dad replied her with a smile.

I mobbed at Daniella as she traced her steps to the kitchen. “Boy stealer.” I mumbled under my breath.

“What was that?” Dad threw at me.

I stared at him and shook my head. “Since when last did we ever have an argument, dad? Can’t you see what these people are doing to us? They are tearing us apart!”

“No, they are not. You are the one who’s being unnecessarily bothered about having a step mother and sister. Luciana is a nice woman. She will never…”

“I’ve heard enough in one night. I think I’d better go to my room now. Goodnight with your newest family.” I said with a feigned smile, turned and took the stairs.

“Now, you are walking out on me?” Dad shouted behind me.

Well, I didn’t even turn to glance at him. I marched straight to my room, slammed the door shut.

I breathed in with rage, moving from one side of the room to another side.

There was something about this woman…this Luciana woman I seriously wanted to figure out. The air around her was strange.

I’d only known her for a short period of time, but then, I knew she was on a mission; mission to come between my father and I.

I wasn’t gonna let that happen. Never.

  (SOMEWHERE IN TEXAS)

A young dark haired woman came out of a black SUV, her sunglasses were so huge they were almost covering her face. Her lemon gown seemed to shine bright with the sun with her matching lemon bag.

She took them off when she got to the main office of the large building, and turned around as if waiting for someone.

“Raymond! When are you getting out of the car?!” She yelled across her shoulder.

The passenger door of the car bumped open and a tall blonde haired guy came out, smiling sheepishly. “You need to try and relax, Cassandra. Stop being paranoid at every slightest opportunity.”

“I’ve not spoken to Martha all day, I need to know what’s going on with the plan.”

“You think the plan is working?” Raymond asked as he walked closer to her. Together, they walked into the house.

Cassandra dropped her bag on the nearest sofa, turned towards the window with a determined look on her face. “It has to work. I can’t just lose everything just like that. I have to call her right away. I need to know how things are going.”

“Here.” Raymond passed her a cellphone as he slid behind her. He held her waistline, rained feather kisses at the back of her neck. “You smell nice.”

Cassandra rolled her eyes. “I’m not in the mood for this right now, Raymond. Let’s get to business.”

“Hmm. Really? Your body is already trembling under my fingers. What do you say about that?”  Raymond whispered into her ear, nibbled at the hollow of her throat.

Cassandra threw her head backwards, revealing more of her neck as she moaned softly. “You sure do know my weak points, don’t you? When are you gonna stop bothering?”

“Never. I couldn’t possibly get enough of you, Cassie. Give me the opportunity of taking you to bed tonight.” Raymond whispered into her ear.

Cassandra suddenly slipped away from his grasp, held the cellphone in front of her. “I need to make the call right now.”

Raymond stepped back, ran a big palm over his head. “Let’s continue once you are done.”

“Shut up.” Cassandra mumbled as she dialed a number on the cellphone. She held it against her ear, and few minutes later, the other line was connected.

“Martha. How’s it going?”

There was a slight pause at the end of the other line. “It’s going on fine, boss. I have a little headache but I think I can take care of it.”

Cassandra frowned slightly. “A little headache? What could that be?”

“You don’t need to worry about it boss. Like I said before, it’s just a little headache.”

“Okay. I will transfer your first payment tonight. Please, bi mistakes. I repeat, no mistakes.”

“Roger that.”

Cassandra cut the line before glaring at Raymond. She breathed in and shrugged. “She says it’s going fine. I will be giving her the first payment tonight.”

“That’s cool. Can we get back to what we were doing?” Raymond mumbled as he moved towards her.

He pulled her closer, fused his lips on hers as they kissed fiercely.

He encircled his arms around her, pulled her down on the sofa before going down with her. “Gosh. You are so soft.”

Cassandra sighed deeply with her eyes closed. “Getting intimate like this reminds me of things I thought I’d forgotten. I don’ like this.” She mumbled.

Raymond pulled down her zipper, a mischievous smile on his face. “You aren’t a log of wood, Cassandra. You are a woman and you need some touch.” He mumbled against her neck, before finally taking off her gown.

Now naked beneath him, Cassandra sighed and finally surrendered to the sensation growing inside of her.
