CHAPTER FOURTEEN

šŸ’• SOPHIAšŸ’•

RECAP: ...Reality struck me. It was indeed my Tony trying to survive.

...

I hurriedly stood from my seat, with one quick step I moved to his seat opposite me, and caught him before he fell down.

At that moment I was panicking so I had no idea of any first aid aside from calling for help. Since we both were in the VIP section, and the only ones there, there was no way someone could have witnessed what was going on, aside the waiter who didn't seem to notice. I turned and saw him leaving so I called him back.

"Hey!" I called and he hurried to where I was without me asking for his help since he had seen the condition in which Tony was.

"Please help me." I cried out to him as soon as he came towards us. Tony was still in blood convulsions.

"Miss please be calm we have to take him to the hospital. He needs medical a_"

"Will you shut the hell up and help me carry him?" I scolded the fool.

"And get your stupid manager here right now." I ordered him immediately.

"Hang on Tony. Please don't die." I whimpered as I placed one of his hands over my shoulders.

Now where on earth is that moron of a waiter and his stupid manager.Ā

"W.. Waiter!!" I yelled. I just asked him to go and come back with the manager of this restaurant.

"Hang on Tony. I'm taking you to the hospital." I whimpered again. Those tears that I hate so much showed up as usual and made their way through my cheeks to my shoulders and chest.

They decided to show up at the right time as my heart was near to shattering. I couldn't tell what happened to me this few days with respect to Tony. No matter what it is, I don't want to lose him. Not the man I am supposed to marry, not my friend.

āœØ General POVāœØ

During the period of the eclipse, while Tony and Sophia were at dinner, Tony's dad sat in the parlour watching a TV program when he suddenly flinched in fright for no reason or so to say.

Something wasn't right as he could feel it. Besides, his instincts never lied to him. Especially with what was going on in his family. He went out to get some fresh air and relieve his mind from the fears he had suddenly started developing.

But the outside wasn't the best option for him. He saw it, the reason why he shrieked in fear. His fears were justified, his feelings were never wrong after all. He shook his head vigorously in disagreement. He wasn't ready to accept the fact that it was what he was scared of... THE ECLIPSE.

"Tony! Tony! I need to get to my son immediately." He ordered his guards to get his car ready. He turned on his GPS and traced Tony's location.Ā

"Drive to EVERGREEN restaurant immediately." He ordered his driver and rested on the backseat of the car.Ā

"I pray nothing bad happens to Tony." He muttered to himself.Ā

"Hold him well will you?" Sophia scolded the waiter with her.Ā

"Tony please fight for your life. Don't die now. You can't just die like that." She added while whimpering.Ā

"Sophia! Sophia my dear!" Tony's dad called as he came out of the car and walked over to where she was.

She was holding tight onto Tony who had stopped convulsing but was bleeding non stop from the nose and mouth. His eyes were shut implying he had passed out.

"Thank goodness you are here Sir Hartz." Sophia said in a low voice.

"Tony! He ... He just... He brought me here for dinner... And..." She tried to talk but couldn't as hot tears rolled down her cheeks from her eyes.

She was not ready to watch someone that became a close person to her, a best friend whom she just made, taken by the cold hands of death. Sophia was breaking into uncontrollable tears.

"Sir we need to take him to the hospital right away." She added quickly and scolded the manager to open the door to Tony's car.

"My dear it's ok. Let my guards help you with him." He said gesturing his hands. His guards understood the signal and went ahead to take Tony from Sophia who didn't hesitate nor object.Ā

The guards took Tony to the car and Mr Hartz followed suit but turned his head to assure Sophia, just to find out that she was following him.Ā

"What are you doing?" He asked not a little bit surprised by her reaction but rather very much astonished by the way she scurried behind his back.

"Sir! I want to go with you. I need to make sure he is alright." She sobbed. Her actions touched his heart but he wasn't going to let her follow him.

"Don't worry my dear. He will be fine. Tony is a fighter. Just be praying for him. Besides you need maximum rest." He replied and she nodded. That was what she needed, rest.

Tony's dad ordered one of his guards to take Sophia home after which he entered his car and drove away. His phone started ringing not long after he entered his car and he picked it after the third ring.

"I'm on my way home with him." He ended the call and turned his gaze to Tony. His bleeding had stopped but he wasn't breathing, though one could feel his pulse which was very weak.

"I'm so sorry son." Tony's dad muttered and heaved a huge sigh.

Moments later...

Tony was seen sleeping on his bed. His breathing was normal and his pulse stronger though still weak. His dad had been standing in his room by the door and watching Tony sleep.Ā

He took a deep breath and slowly shut the door to Tony's room. He walked down the stairs in a slow motion as his mind was on the incident that just occurred.Ā

He pondered on how the eclipse came about. But yet he pondered on how emotional Sophia was on seeing Tony's state. He went down and met the seer that came to his house some days back, comfortably seated on the sofa with a straight face.

"The hour draws near, my dear friend." The seer said still with the straight face as he didn't tilt his head even a little bit.

"The eclipse moon came as a sign. Tony and that lady must be married in two weeks time from now." He added and Tony's father just shook his head.

"They have started developing feelings for each other, which is a very good sign. He might just live after all. Don't lose hopes." The seer said and he nodded.Ā

Tony's destiny is attached to Sophia's own as well as it is attached to the eclipse moon. There are lots to Sophia's life that she is yet to find out.Ā

"But.. I really..."

"Destiny is taking its due course." The seer interrupted.

"The eclipse moon just appeared to adjust the timing of the second new moon. But that girl, she is far more than what we expected. She might just be his ultimate saviour after all."
