Eamon's pov

In my study, I sank into my couch, my heart heavy with regret as I lit up a cigarette. Closing my eyes, I sought solace in the one presence that had always been with me, my wolf.

"I know, I messed up," I whispered, addressing the beast within me.

My wolf's response was a growl, filled with anger and disappointment. "You hurt our mate, Eamon. She's in pain because of you."

I clenched my fists, feeling the weight of my actions bearing down on me. "I didn't mean to, you know. It just... it all spiraled out of my control."

My wolf's response was a low, rumbling snarl. "That's no excuse. You need to make things right, Eamon, for her and for our pup, a happy mate means a happy pup."

I nodded, a renewed determination taking hold. "I will, I promise. I won't rest until she forgives me."

My wolf was the silent type, doesn't talk much unless when necessary and I liked it that way, they say a wolf is the reflection of a man's true self, a few of my pack members had wolf's that spoke

Eamon is still an idiot. He's a POS and his beta is a POS. I don't like the direction this book went. Only a few chapters in and the Alpha has made such horrible decisions and I bet anything she turns weak and stats. Same old crap.

Yeah, Victor sucks, but Eamon is still the alpha & letting all this happen. He's not being forced to think with his d*ck, he's doing it all too willingly. They are both pathetic.
