CHAPTER 23

JAYDEN’S P.O.V.

We landed, and while always Jared and I stayed glued to each other, he sat in other car with dad and uncle Taron.

Uncle Taron had to leave the very day we had arrived at Switzerland due to some emergency back home, but he was here to pick us up.

He must have heard what I did, because the moment I stepped out of the plane, he pulled me in an incredible hug and whispered, “Please, don’t you ever do that to us… alright?”

“Yes, uncle Taron,” I whispered in his arms so softly that only his wolf ears could listen to me.

“Will they be okay?” I asked in the same tone.

“Give them time,” he patted my cheeks lovingly. “Most people don’t get over things like that easily, and alphas in your family most certainly would not!”

And he was right. Because the cold shoulder my dad and Jared gave me, I knew I was in for a long ride.

Back home, I was taken straight to my room. When we left for Switzerland, we had packed our bags in the dormitories to shift to our respective rooms
