Lena’s Point Of View

“I want to be able to hold you without feeling like i bridged the contract” I heard it clearly, I was not deaf. He was also letting me contact my mom every month.

But why did he want to hold me?

“Why do you want to hold me?” It was a stupid question because I also wanted to hold him.

“Because you cry a lot and you are fragile, I hate to see you cry and want to comfort you.”

“Dante.” Was this Dante or another person? Perhaps an imposter?

“Let’s watch a movie later this evening.”

I was speechless, was this the man I got married to?

“Lena?”

“Huh?”

“Movies?

“Yeah, sure.”

“Good, finish up your noodles before it gets too cold.” He said.

I and Dante had the noodles and I went back into my room to sleep because I felt too full and tired. I laid on the bed and slept .

It was late in the evening when Irene came to wake me up because according to her, Dante wanted me in his study.

I rolled out of bed, “I will change my cloth and head to the study.”
