Chapter 33

Carlos forced himself out of the bed for a shower and got ready. Sapphire and Akira followed. A fireplace was set at the side of the enormous dining hall.

The table was arranged with various delicious dishes and all the family members were already seated, busy talking and laughing. Graham sat at the head seat, to his right was Carlos and on the other side was his wife Brianna. The remaining family members followed in both the rows. 

The plush cutlery clinked a midst of fun and cheer among the relatives as the servants began to serve. Carlos made small pieces of fried eggs in Akira's plate and forked them, helping her to eat.
