I paced the penthouse floor, too hyped up to sit still. I just received a call from my uncle that Meghan was discharged from the hospital. There was nothing to hold her for the night. Except being mentally exhausted and confused. She needed to continue seeing someone about her grieving process. She was not In any danger health wise that was alarming.

I took off my tie and got rid of the jacket, it had been a long day from the beginning right through the end.

My uncle walked into the front door, bone tired. As soon as he saw me, his face lit up into a grin.

"I can't say I remember the last time you were this happy to see me." I teased.
