My Endlife

There is a lovely young girl who wants to visit one of the Hoka Estate's famed museums—the Hoka Estate is one of Hokada's wealthiest and most prosperous estates. The girl is standing now by one of the open windows, which she gained access to by picking the locks. She's standing there not just to visit the restricted area, but to visit the famous museum to steal something precious from the owner. She smoothly jumps to the window and performs a front flip. She straightens her leg so that her body will form a right angle in the air, and she manages to land on the floor like a professional gymnast who has mastered her skills.

She ran fast to close the distance on the thing she planned to take, but she saw a red light glowing that surrounded the whole area in an instant. At that moment, she knew that the red light was an alarm. If she makes one wrong move, she will be arrested by every security guard in the vicinity. She smiled secretly as if there was someone watching her-This is a piece of cake. She said, and she made a forward lunge to pass the first set of red lights without breaking the laser. She then balances herself by hopping on the floor and raising her foot to do a log roll, as she sprang forward to avoid another red light.

"Safety Laser, the security surveillance here is too poor and pretty basic!" She scoffs, continuing to rant about how stupid the owner of this place was to design such poor security as she stared at the priceless item she intended to take.

She spoke. "Finally, a wolf's head dagger" she attempted to grab the dagger. But when the dagger met her finger, she felt some strong forces rush into her body that caused her to step back and distort the red light to make it sound an alarm. In a blink of her eyes, she heard footsteps coming toward her. She immediately grabbed the wolf dagger again and didn't mind the strong forces that stopped her earlier by sending a thousand electric bolts to her system, making her tiny hair go up.

She only came back to consciousness when she heard a gunshot and saw all the guards pointing their guns at her. To avoid the bullets from the guard gun, she ran left fast, making a series of jumps, rolls, and plunges. She managed to avoid all the bullets, but on the other hand, there was a guy waiting for her, watching over-watching her every move. When the guy saw that this simple stealing and trespassing had a gun engagement, he jumped down from the top corner of the passageway in the museum, landing his two feet on the floor. Making consecutive jumps swiftly like an assassin, grabbing the head of the nearest person and tilting it 90 degrees. It goes the same for the other guards who tried to fire him and her.

The guy scolded the girl, "You are a pain in the ass, reckless as ever."

"I apologize for breaking our rules, to stay hidden and leave no trace."

He just held her hand tightly and told her to "Stop apologizing and hurry up!" before they could run, one of the guards saw them and aimed a gun at them.

The guard shouted on top of his lungs, "Don't try to run or I will shoot the two of you! " and called the attention of other guards "They're here!"

The girl just stared at the guy, giving him a look of defeat. But the guy just taps the top of her head like a child and smiles, giving her an "everything is okay" look. The guy abruptly grabbed the girl's arm, giving himself a space to turn around 360 degrees consecutively while swaying the girl, and the girl knew she need to kick those guards who tried to come closer. When the girl's feet met the floor, they looked around to see if anyone was still standing, and there they saw, "One more left standing," as the guy talked.

"Don't-don't move! I will really shoot you! " The one last standing managed to say those words even though he was shaking because of fear. Feared to the two people in front of him, who resemble a tiger and a tigress ready to devour their prey.

The girl didn't mind the warning, so she made a half-turn. She jumps straight up in the air while bending her knees, putting her two hands on both sides and lifting them back on top again to generate power, loading her leg and kicking the man to cause him to lose consciousness.

The guy clings to the railing, panting because of tiredness. They just ran from the museum to the nearest sea in Hoka Estate. "Are you sure you are okay?" The guy just snapped at the girl, bringing his posture back to normal.

"Yes, I'm alright. I'm the one who should ask you that."

"Devin", calling his name is all she can do and smile because of the unexplainable happiness she feels right now.

"I'm the one who protects you. Why ask me if I'm alright and oh?"

"Did you get it?!" he excitedly asked the woman, referring to the wolf's head dagger.

"Yes, of course! I've never failed to get what I wanted before! " She proudly said and started to stare at the crimson sky where birds were freely flying gracefully as if they were playing.

"Devin," she said again to get his attention, and he knew what she was going to say. He stared at the beautiful face of the girl she loved. She has this almond eye paired with an emerald green iris, a pointy nose, and delectable soft red lips.

"We both agreed that if we are done stealing this thing, we won't steal anything else, right? And stop putting our lives in danger for the organization" he said monotonously making her smile at the thought that he surely didn't forget it.

''Blair, do you really want me to run away with you?" he asked and cupped her face.

"Then give me the wolf's dagger. Let's give it to them and let's run away. " Without a thought, Blair gave the box to Devin, and Devin took it without hesitation.

"We got the wolf's dagger. They gave us what we wanted, and they won't stop us." She is sure they can get the freedom they want. She already planned it a long time ago.

"Bla---" before Devin could finish calling her name. She simply shushed Devin and pointed her finger at his lips to silence him for what he was about to say. She kissed him on the lips and hugged him afterward.

"We can settle on the place you want in Oka and watch the beautiful sky as we wait for our hair to turn gray. Having you in my life is enough for me, Devin." As a response, Devin just hugged her tightly, gripping the box in his hand as tears fell down his eyes while she was still hugging him. He pushed her away cause her to back away a little separating his body from her and there were no more tears visible in his eyes.

"You are naive. Do you think they let us leave without killing us? "You cannot leave without dying, Blair." 

"Yo-you stabbed me?" She was shocked at the thought that the guy she wanted to live with for the rest of her life had stabbed her in the chest. "What a pitty girl I am—I put all of my efforts into stealing the thing that would kill me and the guy I loved, hahaha," she said and laughed bitterly. She's confused right now, but the only thing she knows is that she was betrayed, and it is an insult to her.

The guy walked slowly toward her as she stepped back, and she had no way to go now. The railing caught her off guard, trapped her, and the only thing waiting on her back was the welcoming sea. "Don't try to escape. You'll die anyway." Devin said.

"I wish this was just a dream." She told herself, silently, and started to step back, letting her body fall into the sea. That made Devin run as fast as he can to catch Blair before she fall on the sea but fate didn't give him a chance to save Blair from falling.

"Blair! Blair!" She closed her eyes, letting herself drown in the sea, letting herself be fooled by the emotion coming from the voice of the guy she loved. He was screaming my name as if he was worried about me drowning and dying in the sea. If I fall into a different situation, maybe I will enjoy this one. The man I love is screaming at the top of his lungs, worried because I fell. But fate is cruel to me that's why I'm dying at the hand of my love.

When she started to feel dizzy and suffocated, the wolf's dagger that was used to stab her lit up, creating a circular lightning sign with the head of a wolf in the center of it, the light positioned at her back stopping her to drown deeper. She felt the force again. It was like a thousand bolts started to attack her nerves that caused her heart to beat so fast like she was having a heart attack. She could feel every beat of her heart and so she decided to open her eyes to see what was happening.

But in surprise, Blair covers herself using her two arms and bends her knees, making a fetus pose. She was surprised at the light rushing toward her as if it would cause havoc. The light would eat her- This is my end? she thought. But suddenly she gasped when the light was absorbed by her body.
