Sophia's POV

"I let her escape. Please punish me!", I heard my helper say. My jaw dropped. "She is innocent. Please let her go".

"Stop it, please!". I took a deep breath in. "I beg you. He had nothing to do with this!" I lowered my head in guilt. "Please, just let him go!"

Our scuffle didn't stop anything for him. With the knife in his hand, my captor swung his hand at the helper's neck, and in one breath, I saw his neck fall from his head.

"No!!!!".

His blood popped from inside and his body thudded on the ground.

"No!!!". I screamed.

"Yes!!!!" My captor yelled back. "Yes! Yes and yes!! That's what happens to people who lie. You think you'd be an exception, lie to me again and you will find out".

His hands lowered to his side. He still held the knife in his left, it had my helper's blood dripping from it. I watched in horror, the lifeless body trying to survive.

It was not too long after his head was cut off that his body stopped moving. I was still weeping when my captor stepped in
