Chapter 103

Mildred was now outside the apartment building. She felt confused about what to do next. Her first thought was to run back home crying like a little girl to Alpha White's arm to comfort her, she really needed that now badly but she thought against it. Her second thought was to stay behind and save Lucas from the hands of the female vampire; Nicole. 

She chose the latter and as she was standing outside she decided to go across the road and wait at a nearby café to spy on Nicole when she leaves the apartment.

She made her way across the road without caring about car traffic. She was lucky her timing was spot on and she was not hit by a car as she made her way across the street. It could have been that she used her magic spell to get across safely as well.
