Chapter 37

Alessia's POV

We arrived at the hospital and many people were being treated for burns from the fire. I was suddenly nervous because if someone else were to treat me, they would know that I am a woman. I quickly put my mind to work on what I need to do to avoid this.

"It's Anisto," I said to Stefano so he looked at me. He didn't get what I meant. "S-he's the one I want to treat me."

He didn't speak. I didn't hear the question and we turned around and he took me to a tent away from the groups, away from those being treated because of the incident.

He ushered me into a tent that I could tell was just like the one I left behind. He made me sit on the bed there that strangely had a bed.

"It's just a moment and I'll bring Anisto here," he said goodbye to me and Stefano immediately went out to catch Anisto.

I looked at the entrance which is now closed. It's surprising that Stefano didn't even ask why I wanted Anisto to treat me. It's not like earlier when he questioned why I knew anything ab
