Caraline, Helen, Stevan, guards, and maids were in front of the large courtyard. Meanwhile, Deric was still at the front of the courtyard, waiting for his friend who was still on his way. As the gate opened, a car entered the courtyard.

"Mr. Deric, we must check on your friend first before he enters the house," one of the bodyguards said, "This is by Miss Caraline's established procedure."

"I don't mind at all. You can do your duty," Deric replied.

A tall man got out of the car. He wore round glasses with a long shirt tucked into his pants. There was a sizable mole on his right cheek and a rather thick mustache. The man had the appearance of a bookworm.

After the inspection, Deric took the man to the sideyard. Once there, the two of them immediately became the center of people's attention. The maids were talking to each other, looking at the man with glasses up and down.

"Miss Caraline," Stevan whispered.

"Shut up," Caraline snapped with an exasperated look at Deric. She didn't know
