Seven: The Second Punishment

My eyes adjust to the dim light filtering through the small window high up in the wall. As my vision clears, I realize that I am not alone. I am chained to the wall, my wrists secured by a heavy, rusted iron chain that seems to be fused into the wall itself. I tug at the chain, but it is unyielding, as if it has become a part of me.

I try to remember how I got here, but my memories are hazy. Then it all came rushing back to me, the party, the seer, Alpha Lance accusing me for everything and ordering the guards to lock me up.

As I look down at my wrists, I notice the chain that binds me. It is unlike any chain I have ever seen before. It is as thick as my thumb and made of a strange, shimmering metal that seems to shift in the dim light. It is not rusted like the rest of the dungeon, but instead, it glows with an otherworldly sheen.
