An Omega

"I know what this is and trust me it never goes right. He's your mate, you have to care," he ran his fingers through his hair looking at me in disbelief.

"Have you seen how he treats me?" I laughed out lowly, "I understand that he is alpha but I blame myself for trying to be good for him."

Sharply, I left the ground I was sitting on, picked up the book I planned to read and began leaving the library too. I sensed Gray following me from behind, quiet after what I said about Lance. He was lost in his own thoughts.

"I appreciate all you have done and the stress you went through for me, I cannot thank you enough, honestly, but it is about time I grew up. I am not going to be a chore wolf," I finalized and his brow furrowed.

"A chore wolf?" he questioned as he exited the building. The bright sun hit my face and I frowned, allowing my eyes to adjust to the light. We both continued to walk like nothing happened a few minutes back.

"An omega," I answered.

"No one sees you as that," he argue
