" Incoming call from Josh," Siri announced, and I rose from my bed. Today was a weekend, and I needed to hit the gym. This urban community wasn't conducive for me to shift and it bothered me a lot. I guess the treadmill would bear the brunt.

" Hello, Josh," I said immediately I picked up the phone. What was going on? It was quite unusual for Josh to call this early on a weekend.

"A group of rogues were seen at the outskirts of the pack last night. We were able to chase them to the border, but unable to catch them." He explained.

I knew it, something bad had happened. " Nobody was harmed right?" My pack's safety was important to me.

" Yes- No, a few warriors got scraped during the fight." He said.

" How is Ellie doing?"

"Great. She's been filling into her shoes perfectly. It's almost like she was her." He replied, refusing to mention my wife's name because it was a sore topic for all of us. She just left without saying goodbye.
