Aubrey's POV

" Why do you want to help me?" I asked her. She wasn't a good person, I could feel it.

" Call me when you are ready." She said and handed me a card. I collected it from her, watched her wear her shades, and walked away.

I recovered when she left. " Wait! What's your name?!" I called but she didn't reply. I walked to my porch and saw another parcel waiting for me. I opened it and saw another letter waiting for me.

" I am watching you everywhere you go." It read.

My heart almost jumped out of my chest and I ran inside my house. I walked into my room and dialed Mr knight. He had to find a solution to this ASAP. My life was constantly threatened by unknown people. " Hello, I just received another letter. What is going on?"

" Do you mind skipping school for a month? I'll take you somewhere safer." He said.

"I am going to miss exams and my life here," I replied. Not like I had much here, apart from Alexis. But I intended to make a life here.
