Aubrey's POV

" We have to go to the hospital then," I said, but she shook her head. " What do you mean by no?" I asked. I was more worried than she was. I didn't want her to get hurt on my watch.

" Just calm down. I'll go to a hospital later, but it's not an emergency. I can get my drugs from the pharmacy. It's a sedative. It helps me sleep better at night." She replied, and I went down memory lane.

My fourteen-year-old self opened the door and saw Amber snoring away when there was a fire. I couldn't get her to wake up, and I was already getting scared. It was some neighbors that helped me put out the fire. " That explains why you sleep deeply," I said.

Amber shook her head again, " I only sleep deeply at night. I've always told you not to disturb me at night." She told me. She used to be very angry whenever I woke her up for an unnecessary cause.

" The question is why?" I asked, and she looked at me, heaved a sigh, and collapsed on the bed.
