Luna

In addition to facing the future problem of Kappa, my current concern is about money. My only funds, provided by my brother, covered just my transportation fee to get here. Although I'm now enrolled, have a roof over my head, and food to eat, my brother won't provide money for things like school supplies.

Frustrated, I confided in Pink and Lucy, expressing my desire to find a job, and they willingly offered to help. Pink suggested I work at Luna's house as a replacement for her because the head keeps reminding her to find a substitute. Pink informed me about the grumpy nature of the head maid, which caused many maids to quit. The job required me to stay there for three days. The next morning, following Pink's instructions, I packed clothes for the three-day stay, and we journeyed to Luna's house, three streets away from Peach's house. We will pass by Xi hospital, the only one hospital in Kappa.

I realized that transportation options were limited since werewolves didn't require vehicles due to their four-legged nature. And some of them are faster than vehicles. This oversight made me realize how Luna and I would travel, given that neither of us could transform into wolves. Thankfully, Pink offered to be my transportation.

Lucy and Pink I think underwent a painful transformation into wolves, their bodies changing as bones cracked and hands became paws. With fur, tails, and yellow eyes, they took on wolf forms. Lucy is faster than Pink and I think that's the reason why she became my ride last theta ritual. Pink is taller than Lucy. Even in human form Pink is taller than the three of us. Lucy wolf fur is pure black while Pink is brown with pink nails.

Their willingness to help me truly reflected their friendship. Upon arriving at Luna's house, they transformed back into humans, and I handed them their clothes.

We were met by Tia, a woman in her forties, who inquired if we were the recommended individuals. Pink pointed to me, indicating that only I would take on the job. Tia sighed and led me inside, mentioning that she was the only one helping Luna at the moment. And Pink promised to pick me up after three days. The house was dimly lit with drawn curtains, and Tia, while chopping onions, started listing the house rules.

"First, you can't talk to or look at Luna. Second, we can only enter Luna's room at night to clean if she's asleep. Quick and quiet cleaning. Lastly, don't open the curtains, but keep them clean. Also special rules prepare Luna's meals, and if she doesn't eat, don't bother her. Your only task is to clean nothing else. And your first job now is to make the garden beautiful," she instructed.

"Madam, excuse me but where can I put my things?" I asked.

"Second floor, any room that is unlocked," Tia replied.

Nodding, I placed my belongings in the first available unlocked room. Afterwards, I ventured out to the garden. The garden was filled with withered plants that required uprooting. By afternoon, I had completed the task and felt satisfied with my work. We sat down for dinner together.

"Tomorrow morning, wake up early and purchase these items,"

Tia handed me a list and the necessary money. Exhausted the next morning, I embarked on the long and burdensome journey to buy the items. This job was doubly hard for me due to the lack of transportation and my inability to transform into a werewolf can't make me stronger. After arriving back, Tia promptly assigned me the task of cleaning the entire house, except for the kitchen that she maintained herself. I had no choice but to follow her instructions. I finished before 10 pm and saw Tia preparing cleaning materials, which she would use to clean Luna's room.

The following day, Tia instructed me to rest in the afternoon, explaining that I would clean Luna's room in the late evening. She mentioned that her back was hurting, so I would be taking over for tonight. She provided detailed instructions: I should enter at 10 pm and finish before 11 pm. If Luna moved, I was to exit the room promptly.

As evening arrived, Tia seemed to be sleeping in her room while I waited in front of Luna's door. With Tia's guidance in mind, I entered the room at the designated time. Luna's room was surprisingly ordinary and small, unlike the spacious and elegant rooms in the peach house. It contained just a single drawer, a table and chair, possibly for eating, and a large bed with curtains that obscured Luna's face. I worked quickly but quietly, and as I was engrossed in my task, I suddenly heard a noise coming from the bed. I froze, waiting to see if Luna was awake. With no further movement, I continued sweeping the floor.

Suddenly, I felt eyes on me. Slowly, I looked up and saw a young girl in a white dress watching me. My gaze turned toward the bed, but no one was there. This was Luna – a girl of around 3 feet, with delicate and pale skin, long black hair, and an aura of mystery. Uncertain of what to do, I instinctively lowered my head in a bow.

"I apologize for disturbing your sleep, Luna," I said softly.

"Are you Infinite?" Luna's question caught me off guard.

     Still bowing, I nodded absentmindedly.

"Don't you recognize me?" she inquired once more.

"You are the Luna of Kappa," I replied.

"I meant my true name," Luna clarified.

     I shook my head.

"Perhaps you've forgotten me already. We were friends when you were just 6 years old, and I understand you might not remember everything," Luna said with a hint of nostalgia in her voice.

"I am your childhood friend, Hamaliel."

Hamaliel? The name wasn't familiar to me.

"I am sorry Luna but I really don't remember you," I responded.

My words seemed to bring sadness to Luna's face.

"It's okay. I will just reintroduce myself," she said, her tone gentle.

"Hi, I am Hamaliel, you can call me Liel. I'm 18 years old and I like to read and watch sceneries," she continued.

"Ahm... I am Infinite. I'm 16 years old, born in Kappa but raised in another city. And now I am finally living here," I replied.

"That's great. What is your hobby, Infinite?" she asked me.

"Ahm...nothing?"

I wasn't entirely sure about my

response.

"You may haven't discovered it yet. Let's sit on my bed. I've been desperate to talk to someone, but they don't want me to go out," she said sadly.

Wait, she didn't want to be shut in? She held my hand and suddenly collapsed. Thankfully, my reflexes were good, and I managed to catch her before she could harm herself.

"Are you okay, Luna?" I asked her.

"I am. Thank you, Infinite. I just saw something," she said, and I helped her onto her bed.

"What did you see?" I inquired.

"The future of yours and Kappa," she said.

I was amazed by what she said. She could see the future. Being a Luna must have been extraordinary, to have that ability.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I asked.

"It's a good future, but the road is so hard for the future Alpha," she said, her gaze fixed on nothingness.

"Do you want to help them?" she suddenly asked me.

I nodded at her. I wanted to help the future Alpha and Kappa. It felt like a privilege for me, an ordinary werewolf who couldn't transform into a wolf.

"That's great. Uhm, can we go out next week? I want to show you something," she asked.

"Where are we going, Luna?"

"Secret. Consider it a date," Luna said, her voice holding a note of excitement.

"And please call me Liel," she continued.

"But..."

"Please?" She gave me a cute puppy face.

"Okay, Lu-Liel."

"Then I will call you Nit? Infi? Ahh, just Infinite," she playfully remarked.

"It's getting late now, Liel. I'll take my leave, and you should get some sleep," I suggested.

"Alright, you too, Infinite. Sleep well," she said, settling into her bed and closing her eyes.

"Goodnight, Liel. Sleep well."

As I exited the room, a smile graced my face due to the beautiful encounter. I thought the head maid was mistaken in assuming what Luna needed and wanted. Although I felt sympathy for Luna, I also recognized that I wasn't worthy to decide what Luna truly needed and desired.
