Chapter 13: Sympathy
"WHERE are you from, Syrie?" Trina greeted me as if worried about something.
"In the mansion," I retorted and went straight to the sofa. I sat there and scratched my head. I don’t know but I can’t get out of my mind the things Marcus told me. I tried to get rid of it because I was afraid I might believe him.
"I've been looking for you, Syrie," said Trina who followed me to the sofa. "I saw some wolves here earlier, they seem to be spying on the house."
I looked up at Trina because of what she said. "What did they do?" I asked worriedly.
"So far they have done nothing. I was on my way home and I saw some wolves around the house that seemed to be looking for someone," Trina explained.
I breathed a sigh of relief as the wolves probably did nothing. Maybe they’re looking for something and I might be that.
