Chapter 44: Trust

UNTIL now I still can't get out of my mind what Trina said to me. I didn't even think about that or even suspect Marcus, that he might be one of those wolves with a moon carved on his right arm. Yes, I didn't immediately trust him but I never thought that he might be the one I was looking for. What if that's true? What if Marcus has a moon carved on his right arm? How can I deal with what can happen when I've fallen for him?

I sighed as I hugged myself standing in front of the living room window where my eyes were looking at that big tree in front of me. It was dark around and the night breeze was slightly cold. I was the only one at home again because Trina and Vernon were in the jungle while Persuz was in the mansion.

My mind has been working on what Trina said and I'm afraid to know what is true and what is not. I don't even know if I can accept when it turns out that Trina is right.

"Are you thinking about me again?"

I blinked and was suddenly nervous when I saw Marcus at the bott
