I was lying in the hospital bed.

I can't handle the pain of my stomach anymore.

I'm alone because I don't want to disturb anyone else. And I don't want Ian to worry.

I don't think my illness is that serious.

I had a blood test, CT scan, Upper GI, and biopsy last week. Today my test results are out.

I looked at my hand that the doctor had been focusing on earlier.

The door opened and Doctor Collins entered.

"Doc."

"Hi Mr. Guevarra I know you're a busy person, so I don't want this to last any longer. These are the findings of your tests." He said reaching for the papers he was holding.

"What did you see doc? Are my feelings normal?"

"Based on your tests we found out that you have cancer, Mr. Guevarra. Sadly you are in a serious stage." Answer by Dr. Collins.
