Chapter 26: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

Jack realized he was falling in love with his contract wife. He stood watching his wife playing ball with his brother. It dawns on him that not one of his ex-girlfriends would ever consider doing that. What puzzles and intrigued him, the fact that she was one moment child-like with an unexpected maturity.

He slowly realized she was brave enough never to chase love or attention. Simply watching her he had noticed she was giving freely of herself to the laughing boy. He discovered he love her laughter; it always starts with the curving her mouth.

“I like the girl. It would be the easiest thing to fall in love with her,” he voiced the sudden truth from his heart. His building happiness was interrupted by the familiar knock on the door. The door opened and closed.

“Sir, do you have a minute?”

“What is it William?” he kept his eyes on the two outside. His brother was truly enjoying himself. His wife looked amazing. He suddenly wonders if she would consider him as a husband? His thoughts
