Chapter 60: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

Jazz woke feeling strangely happy. She stretched in bed before reaching for her cell phone. There were no missed calls or messages. She jumped out of bed caught her reflection in the mirror. Her dishevelled appearance made her smile.

“It was a good night,” she told herself. She smiled as she recalled the soft rain she heard the whole night long. She can still hear the rain. Going towards her window she pushed the curtains opened looking outside.

“Wow, nature sure is beautiful.”

On impulse she grabbed her robe going to the kitchen. She start making her own cup of early morning coffee. She pushed opened the window wanting the cool air inside. She felt happy. Once she finished making her coffee she walked with it in hand out the back. Before she realized she stepped into a puddle of water. Her slippers instantly wet and she found herself slipping. The coffee flew into the air before coming down hitting her luke warm in the face. She managed to caught the cup as it comes down.
