Donovan.
She walked through the doors, hesitating, looking at everything around her. Her gaze fell on Gabriel, who was studying her in turn. I felt an uncomfortable sensation in my chest, related to jealousy.
But I wasn’t jealous of the warlock.
Was I?
Nah, someone like me could never feel insecure. Juliet was mine, so the mother moon decided. And a warlock would never be a match for me.
“Oh, I didn’t know you had company. I can come back later,” she murmured.
