Seeing the magic had shocked me. That boy, Gabriel, seemed like someone important. Hadn't he mentioned that he was the next leader of something? I frowned just thinking about it. I did not understand anything that was happening around me.
And he wanted to send us to an academy for people with special powers. And what the hell did that mean? Was it some kind of reform school for troubled kids?
