Chapter Fifty-Seven

Alex's POV

A month had passed since the cabin thing, most of Asher's wounds had healed and everyone was back in high spirits since graduation was coming up. This was our last year of high school, of course we'd be happy.

Asher and I were currently on a picnic date-- our first date since spring break. Richard, Asher's dad, had told taken him to their mansion to recuperate and now he's back, I just hope that he's really okay, the doctor said that he would heal physically but it was a traumatic experience.

"What are you thinking about?" Asher's voice cut through my thoughts.

I shook my head, "Nothing."

He stared at me, not believing a word I'd said, "Okay," he held my waist and pulled me to sit on his lap with my legs spread on either side on his thighs.

"Asher, your chest." I gasped, struggling out of his hold.

"I'm okay." he said and held me on him till I calmed down, he moved his hands from my waist and began to unbutton his sh
