Chapter Thirty-Six

Alex's POV

We only had two weeks left before we had to go back home to get ready for school and Zoe and I hadn't talked since our first night, I wanted to apologize but when I thought more on it, I realized that she should be the one to apologize to me and instead, she was avoiding me. I never saw her at breakfast but I always saw Chris with two plates of food in hand, she never accepted Cole's invitation to play billiards and one time when I was in the elevator, she had wanted to get on but the moment she saw me, she turned the other way. I was sick and tired of her blatant evasion, I didn't want to give in but I knew how stubborn she was and that, she wasn't going to apologize first.

Chris convinced me to go talk to her and Cole couldn't care less, but here I am, in front of their door. I knocked and Chris came to answer the door.

"Thank you." he whispered, "She's taking a shower so you can just go in." he said before leaving, shutting the door behind me.
