Fifty Nine

Asher's POV:

The rain turned into a violent storm in minutes. Which was bad since now we were trapped here with trees all around and us in the car, which had decided to stop midway.

And now we were literally out here between I don't know where.

"Oh God. How will we get back?" Melody whispered.

I glanced sideways at her. Once again I felt my eyes just staying at her. She was so real. Like the same Melody I loved putting my arms around. The same Melody I loved to kiss.

How could she just forget it all?

It should've been too hard to accept it or the thing about her flashbacks. But the way panic had edged in her eyes when she had told me about it was not hard to believe.

She turned her focus towards me and I looked away.

"We are trapped." She said.

I looked at the road ahead as the night sky made it look more isolated. Opening the door, I glanced at her one more time.

"No, we're not. I'll check what's wrong." I reassured her.

She nodded but the worried lines were still visible on her fore
