Sixty Six

Melody's POV:

I smiled against him feeling something flutter inside me. We stayed like that for a while until I realized I had to go back. I pulled away but not too much, since he didn't let me.

"I've got to go. There is-" I stopped when I realized that Grandma was already watching us.

I didn't even realize when she got out.

"Grandma." I finished before pulling away in surprise.

Asher turned too before a grin formed on his face.

"Why didn't you tell you got out?" I asked her with a frown.

She gave me a pointed smile.

"Well, who am I to interupt such a cute moment?" She asked.

I cleared my throat, signalling her to not do this here. Instead, she kept on smiling.

"Why don't you two lovebirds come inside before you freeze to death?" She suggested.

I closed my eyes, hoping Asher didn't listen.

"You do not have to go back, do you?" She asked Asher.

As I opened my eyes, I saw Asher looking a bit surprised at the situation. I wish grandma would get the clue.
