__ Rose's POV____
Nate's phone ringing interrupted the beautiful dream I was having. About the two of us of course. I felt the bed shift as he reached over to pick up the phone.
"Hey, man. What's up?" I heard him say. I didn't hear what the other person said but it mustn't be good news as his face darkened and he dropped the call. I sat up on the bed and pulled the cover up my body.
" I have to go," he says and I nodded, clearly understanding that something must be wrong. He stood up and goes to the closet to pick something to wear. He looks at me one more time before leaving, slamming the door on his way out. I sighed. I had hoped to spend the rest of the day in bed with him.
