63~Life Without Her

Kaizen's POV

Exactly nine hours later, our flight landed in Sicily. It was still afternoon so we decided to book a hotel we'll be staying in, then at night we would set out to the club.

Seven years. It's been seven years since I've smiled. Seven years since I had a purpose in life. Life was pretty meaningless to me now. The only source of redemption the moon goddess blessed me with, she also snatched her away from me without remorse.

Arriving in Sicily, I still found it hard to believe that Aurora is alive. It wasn't possible. It just wasn't. And I would be glad to prove him wrong on his assumptions.

Dominic and I walked into the hotel lobby, tired from a long day of travel. We approached the reception desk and asked the receptionist if they had any available rooms.

The receptionist probably took our question the wrong way as she took that as an opportunity to openly flirt with me. The receptionist, a young woman with red hair and bright red lipstick, looked me up and down and smiled
