His men downstairs had alerted him of it, and any moment from now he knew that the man would be here. It was a surprise that a man who had been hiding from him for years would come out because of a woman.

He knew that it was because of Mia that Gideon was here. He placed a note on the dead body of the man who was caught outside the Cinema with Mia and dropped the body in front of one of Gideon's clubs.

The note was directed at Gideon. He told the man that he was aware of his plan to steal the ledger using Mia. He just proceeded with his instinct, and now Gideon was here.
