Chapter 27

Neon's perspective

I left Aria in the hospital room when she was sleeping, and met with the pack doctor at his office. He didn’t want to speak to me because Aria was there.

He didn’t want her to hear our conversations.

“Here is the result of the scan, she fractured a rib, but it would heal in time. She’s not a werewolf so it would make more time than usual, make sure she takes her medication.” The pack doctor said as he sat on his desk. I stared at the results for a moment and then squeezed them into my pocket.

“She’s not in any critical condition is she?” I asked quietly.

“No, Alpha.”

“Is that all?” I asked, creasing my brows at him.

“Yes. And I received a message from your Beta, he said he’s been trying to reach you and he couldn’t. He has something to say to you and it’s urgent.” He explained taking his phone from the table and showing me the text he received from Silas.

“Let me know when Aria wakes up.” I squinted my eyes at him. I would meet up with Silas and know what was wrong.
