After a while, Martin flew into a fit of fury. He swept the utensils before him and shouted, "Curtis Crosby, say that again!"

Although he was well into his seventies, he still exuded a commanding presence. At that moment, he had a stern look on his face.

Nevertheless, Curtis remarked calmly, "I said I've decided to be child-free. I'll never have children, ever."

"You're an insolent grandson!" Martin yelled as he hurled the utensils toward Curtis.

"You're the only son in the Crosby family, Curt. How could you say that you don't want children?"

"Apologize to your grandfather, Curt."

"Curt, you know what having a child means to this family. If you don't have kids, the Crosby family name stops with you."
