That night

His sparkling blue eyes stared into mine and his lips curved up with a smile as he held me in his arms. With his tall figure, sharp jaw, and attractive features, he looked like a model.

I freed myself from his grip and tried to move away but he held me again, saying “Those guys are still there.”

After hearing him, I stopped moving and rooted to the ground. He stood in front of me without fading his smile and kept looking at me, tilting his head a little.

“What are you looking at?” I raised my eyebrows.

He shrugged his shoulders. “Nothing. You look beautiful.”

Then I realized I forgot to put my mask on after I walked out of the cafe. Ignoring his compliment, I wore my mask. When I tried to move, he stopped me again as they were still there.

“Who are you? Why are you helping me?” I asked him as his behavior raised hundreds of questions in me.

“I need no reason to help beautiful girls.” He winked. “You just need a little makeover to look like an angel.”
