62: The Father Figure

TAYA’s POV :

Spending time with Judah was never second best.

For the past week, Judah and I were like two peas in a pod. We did everything together. In the morning, he’d pick me up to go to school. We spent as much time together at school as possible, and afterward too. Usually, we’d go to the diner for some snacks and studying. And right before dinner, Judah would drive me back home. Then I’d have dinner with my family and Judah and I would talk on the phone until we fell asleep. Sometimes, when we felt like it, Judah would drive to my house in the middle of the night, and I’d sneak out with him to our favorite spot in the island.

That right there was pure paradise.

After an entire week together like that, I thought we’d be sick of each other by now. But no. On the contrary, I was still missing him every time he wasn’t around. Like at dinner
