Should I Call Him?

Honey's POV.

He gave me his number and drove off. I smiled as I looked at his number and saved it as 'Handsome Savior’. I kept my phone in my handbag and watched as he drove away. I really hoped to see him at the concert. I smiled and turned. Amelia was stepping out of the music studio, she watched as the car drove away. She turned to me and arched her brow when it was out of sight. "Oyin, who was that?"

"He is someone who saved me a while ago."

Her brows furrowed and walked to me looking worried. "What happened?” She asked. “Why did you say he saved you?"

I held the handle of my handbag and pressed my lip. "Well, there was a mysterious fan who was stalking me when I went to the shoe store and I kind of ran into him while I was trying to avoid the stalker."

Amelia bit her lip and shook her head. "This won't have happened to you if you had let me follow you." She scolded me.

I pouted and walked into the music studio. "Then, I'm glad you didn't follow me because if you did, I wouldn't have met him." I said dreamily.

Amelia frowned, giving me a look. "Him? Who? Your crazy fan or the man who saved you?"

"Who else? I'm talking about the man who saved me."

Amelia raised her brows and looked at me like she was examining me. "You don't even know his name, do you?"

I blinked twice and shrugged. "I already asked for his number so I didn’t want to ask for his name. I don't want him to think I'm all over him."

"Asking for his number seems more clingy to me than asking for his name," Amelia clarified.

I toyed with the zip of my handbag. "That's not—" I gasped and covered my mouth. Did he get irritated because I was acting so clingy?

I looked at Amelia with wide opened eyes. "Amelia, was I acting clingy? Oh my, do you think he thought I was clingy?"

Amelia nodded and turned towards another corner. "I'm hundred percent sure he thought so."

"You are not a nice manager." I scolded her.

She smiled and looked at me. "At least, I'm an honest one."

I picked up some stuffs from the studio and headed back home. Amelia ensured she followed me this time. I lived in a quiet neighborhood in LA. The car was parked in the garage of my house. It was just a fancy White duplex surrounded with a small nice garden and a sparkling swimming pool at the front of the house. I still lived with my parents and I'm pleased with it. I once thought of moving out when I turned twenty, but I changed my mind. I would only move out when I get married.

I slung my handbag over my shoulder and walked inside. My dad was on a sofa reading a newspaper. I smiled and walked towards him. I'm sure my mom was in the private living room watching blackpink music videos. I thought I was a devoted blink, but my Mom beat me hands down.

"Dad!" I squeaked.

He spread his hands and I embraced him tightly. Although I was nineteen years old, I still act like a little child around my Dad. I was so close to my Dad that my mom usually tells me to get my own man. I would tongue out and hugged my dad whenever she said that. My parent were both Nigerians, but they settled in L.A.

My Dad cupped my face and smiled. "How was your day, my princess?"

I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Ugh, it was fun and stressful."

"Guess what?" he inquired.

I arched my brows, confused. "What?"

He bent and picked up a package from the sofa. "I brought you your favorite, Pepperoni!"

"Really?" I took the box of pizza and opened it excitedly.

Amelia cleared her throat and we looked at her. She flipped her short straight black hair calculatively and looked at us. "It is such a nice father and daughter bonding, but I just want you two to know that I'm leaving."

I showed her the box of pizza. "Come on, you told me you will share this with me."

She looked at the pizza and licked her bottom lip. She pointed her finger my way. "Alright, I will go and get a plate."

We sat in the dining room eating pizza. Amelia took another slice on her plate and looked at me. "So, has he called you?" She asked

I looked at her. "Who?"

She looked down at the contact page on my phone. "Your handsome savior."

Since I arrived, I have been constantly checking his contact, anxiously waiting for his call. I turned off my phone and sat up. "No." I have been expecting him to call me, but he hasn't. I looked at my phone and reached for it. "Should I call him?"

Amelia took it from my hand and shook her head. "No, that's clingy. At least, give him a day before calling him."

"A whole day?! That's too long!" I grumbled.
