I Really Love You, Hazel

"How long have you been late, Hazel?" Frank asked Hazel. Frank is Hazel's colleague and best friend at the Rainbow café.

"Just now, when I was washing dishes at Mrs. Kana's house, I almost got hit by a car, sis," Hazel explained as she got ready for work.

I had employed Hazel at her former junior high school teacher's home as a café server and a dishwasher since school. Despite not wanting to do so, Kana sympathized with Hazel's situation and offered her a position as a laundry worker at her residence. However, Hazel preferred to work hard rather than receive pity.

"But are you okay?" Frank panicked, twisting Hazel's petite body to see where the girl was rubbing.

"Yeah, brother," Hazel stopped Frank's hand, who wanted to twist her body again to check for wounds on her body. "I'm fine, and Uncle braked before he hit that cute little me." Hazel winked flirtatiously. If Hazel was a thrilled girl outside the home, it was very different when the girl was home. For her, her home was just a hell that caused her physical and mental anguish and pain. Hazel was tired, but she took that risk when she made her decision six years ago.

"I think you're still okay because the narcissism is still there." Frank shook his head at Hazel's actions, which were so clever at covering up all the hurt she felt.

"You're not working, you're gossiping," a girl snickers, putting her bag in a cupboard reserved for café employees.

"Sorry, sister, I was wrong." Hazel gave Frank a code through her eyes. She didn't want Frank to have to fight with Clara. Clara has disliked Hazel since she started working at the café.

"It's good that you know yourself!" The woman named Clara looked at Hazel with her sharp eyes; Hazel looked so annoyed in her eyes.

"Oh, you're a girl? If you're a girl, you should protect your race instead of falling like this. It's going to get worse and worse!" Frank couldn't contain his emotions anymore. What kept him silent all this time was a request from Hazel, whom he had liked for the past two years.

"I don't like it anymore when you swear like that." Hazel pulled Frank's hand to leave the staff room. I fed Hazel up with Clara hating her for no apparent reason, but she didn't want to make a scene at work.

"What is wrong with you?" Frank said irritably.

“I remember this is a workplace, and I don't want to let Mr. Allen down, who has been very kind to me. I don't want to be the source of his disappointment. I don't enjoy arguments. However, why not if you're willing to give in? Losing doesn't mean losing, right?" Hazel replied with a sweet smile of her own. How could Frank not give in to Hazel when she had a charm that made him feel at home, looking at her sweet smile? Moreover, Hazel's outgoing nature was a plus for him.

"Well, brother, don't be upset anymore. Let's get to work. I'll go first, bye! Frank remained lost in Hazel's charms, but Hazel departed.

"What would you like to order, sir?" Hazel now began all the work. Hazel approached the well-dressed man who was intensely focused on the laptop on his desk.

"One cappuccino, one special pasta. That's all." The man replied without looking away from his laptop.

"I repeat, sir. One cappuccino and special pasta. Please wait for your order." Hazel said with a friendly smile. She would smile at customers even if they weren't looking at her.

"Does that sound familiar?" Austin understood something but needed help to make out who the server was. The 31-year-old man could only see a small back, which gave him a familiar sensation.

"Hmm, maybe I was wrong," Austin continued with his later work. Austin was indeed a very workaholic man. For him, work was his life.

"Hey, who's that for?" Clara asked, looking at the handsome white man busy with his work.

"For table 27, sis," Hazel replied politely to Clara's question; it was common for the woman to take up her duties when the one she served was a handsome man.

"I will deliver yours. You will deliver the food to Table 30." Clara forcefully snatched the tray from Hazel's hands. Hazel couldn't help but shake her head at Clara's attitude of always wanting to spread her charms to men she finds wealthy and handsome.

Before long, Austin became fully engrossed in his work. However, when his order arrived, he looked up to identify the woman who had served him.

"Here, sir, a cup of cappuccino and special pasta." Clara picked up the food coquettishly, still showing a charming smile.

"Tsk..." Austin chuckled softly; apparently, the familiar feeling he was feeling was a familiar feeling with the women who always caught his attention. Austin went back to work. He didn't care that Clara was trying to draw attention. Cold about Austin's behavior, Clara immediately withdrew and didn't want to annoy the man any longer.

Despite Austin's typical coldness towards women, he found himself unable to treat Hazel in the same manner upon meeting her. Her charming smile had a contagious effect on him, causing him to smile unconsciously.

One of the patrons at Rainbow café whispered to his friend, "That's a really cute smile!" and remarked on how baffling it was.

"It's cute, but given his age, I think he's already married, but if he's a sugar daddy, then he's perfect." Hazel smiled as she listened to the chatter of the two girls she was serving. "How can anyone want to be a sugar daddy without getting paid for it?" Hazel commented to herself.

"Hazel," as she was about to head back, Hazel heard someone calling her name. The girl immediately turned to the source of the voice.

"You?" Hazel said vaguely.

"Yes, it's me Hazel, I'm sorry. I really love you, Hazel, so please listen to my explanation first."
