I'll Call You Daddy

"No!" a girl yelled, covering her face with her hands.

The car's wheels creaked as I forced her to stop. "You're fine, right?" A man got out of the car he was using.

"I'm fine, uncle," replied the woman he almost hit while sobbing.

"Shall we go to the hospital? I don't want you to be injured." The man wearing a black shirt attempted to persuade the young girl he nearly collided with. He was concerned the minor incident would negatively affect her reputation.

"I'm Hazel, it's okay!" The shoulder-length black-haired woman replied, trying to smile the best she could.

"Okay, but you have to give me your number, so you can call me if you need anything." I wondered about the demon who had entered Austin so much that he was so worried about why he almost killed the woman he had been a victim of earlier.

"Okay, that's Hazel's number. Ah, what's your name, uncle? My name is Hazel Kimberly." The girl who had been frightened earlier instantly transformed into a delighted girl. Hazel was a humble girl to anyone, but a girl's life was too complicated.

"Well, let me introduce you to Austin Halton. My friends call me Austin, but you can call me anything, especially to you." Austin smiled kindly. For some reason, he wanted this. The little woman who had just found them was very comfortable with him.

"I'm used to calling Austin uncle, so what should I call?" Hazel tapped her chubby face with his index finger. "You're very handsome. I'd better call you Daddy, Austin." The nineteen-year-old girl continued happily.

Austin pinched the girl's chubby cheeks before him and exclaimed, "You're so cute!" In his eyes, the girl was incredibly adorable.

"Hurt Uncle, uh, I'm leaving first. You'll be mad if I'm late. Goodbye Daddy Austin." Hazel kissed him goodbye. Hazel thought of others too positively. She didn't think the person who wanted to bump into her was a kidnapper. What's more, Austin himself is already thirty-one years old. It's extraordinary that this mature man is still familiar with him, who is only nineteen years old.

"Ann, this is the first time I've become interested in a girl since you left..." The man chuckled at Hazel's outrageous behavior.

"Where have you been, you little bastard?" a middle-aged woman curses at Hazel as the petite 19-year-old steps onto a cabin.

"I almost got run over by my mom," Hazel stammered. Every time she met her mother, Hazel would become a very timid girl. She was terrified of her mother beating her again.

"I don't care if you want to die or not, but you must remember that you live in this house as a maid! Now you cook, I'm hungry." The 39-year-old woman scolded with a furious face. Merry was the mother of a girl named Hazel Kimberly. Merry was not like any other mother. She hated her only child.

Hazel obediently followed her mother's orders despite the tears in her eyes. Unfortunately, Merry, her mother, was always causing her grief. Despite this, Hazel harbored no ill feelings towards her mother. All she desired was a small amount of affection, which Merry seemed unwilling to give.

"Mom is cooking. Hazel is taking a shower first." Hazel immediately told Merry when the girl had finished cooking. Merry did not respond to her eldest daughter's words but immediately entered the dining room and turned off the TV. She watched while her daughter cooked food for her.

Merry completed all the dishes that Hazel had prepared. She showed no concern for her daughter's hunger caused by her actions. Her only focus was on her fullness, and she intended to resume watching her favorite television program.

After taking a shower, Hazel proceeded directly to the dining room. She felt a slight flutter in her chest as she observed the abundance of food her mother had consumed, leaving behind only a tiny portion of rice and chili.

Hazel was highly famished and eagerly awaited the food to be prepared. However, her mother objected to her eating it and insisted that she only consume food prepared herself, which she had instilled in Hazel.

In a rush, the girl finished her meal and hastily got ready to go to the café, where she was a server. Hazel worked at a sizable café and had been accustomed to working to support her education since primary school.

She desired to return to her early childhood when she resided with her grandmother and experienced genuine affection. Despite working as a leaf picker in a small village, Hazel found contentment in it. Following her grandmother's passing, she had to reside with her mother, as there was no king in the village.

Flashback

"Who are you?" Merry, who was 33 then, looked gorgeous with all that makeup on her face.

"I am Mum, Hazel. I am your daughter, and I am here because my grandmother died." Hazel cried and threw her body over Merry. However, Merry refused and made Hazel even sadder.

Hazel believed that her mother's hatred towards her had been forgotten, but it turned out to be incorrect, as Merry continued to glare at her with disgust and hatred.

"So, why are you here?" Do you want to ruin my life again? The girl was disgusted and married in front of her. The girl was in tears, but her mother did not feel sorry for her at all.

"I don't want this mom, I'm here because my grandmother is gone. I don't know who to live with now." Hazel screamed, not knowing what else to say.

"What is your relationship with me?" Merry didn't have the slightest consideration for her daughter.

"I want to live with mommy."

"I can't accommodate people. My house is too small," Merry said as she closed the door.

"Wait, mom," Hazel put her hand in, "I'm ready to be your maid, and I'll work for my school!" said Hazel with a heavy sigh if her mother wouldn't let her stay there. Who knew where she would end up in the big city?

"Maid? It's a worthy offer, but if you're going to interfere in my life. You must be ready for all the risks, and you can't fight back!" Merry arrogantly said. When else could she have had a free maid in a big city?

"I'm ready for all the consequences!" Upon hearing her daughter's reply, Merry smiled happily and gave Hazel a dilapidated kitchen to live in. When she was 13 years old, Hazel's decision threw her into a veritable hell.
